Why hello there! I’m Meghan, a twenty something and recent college grad coming at ya the beautiful New Hampshire. I’m a Connecticut native, a University of Rhode Island grad and am currently doing my dietetic internship in New Hampshire. So as you can see, I get around.
I like to say I am the perfect blend of an 85-year-old woman and a hippie. I love tea and watching morning talk shows. I enjoy nature as it was meant to be enjoyed and am an advocate of equality of all kinds. As a nutrition and dietetic graduate, I’m a lover of all things food. I have a special relationship with coffee, wine, brunch and ice cream. I love eating out at fancy restaurants, yoga, running, reading good (and sometimes not-so-good) books, and drinking good (and sometimes not-so good) wine. I’ve got a weird love thing with giraffes and root vegetables. I am an admirer of Tina Fey, Ellen DeGeneres, anyone on the Food Network (shout out to the Pioneer Woman) and best of all, the family and friends I’m surrounded by everyday.
I started this blog because I’m trying to learn more about myself and about this life and in my limited experience, I find this easiest to do my sharing with and listening to others. I’ve grappled with my fair share of the many trials and tribulations that life brings. I’ve been dealing with anxiety my whole life and have confronted anorexia and depression as well. I’m an advocate of self-love and body positivity for all people, always.
I’m constantly trying to find beauty in imperfection and spend an inordinate amount of time trying to wrap my mind around the way life works. I welcome and encourage any thoughts, ideas or suggestions that you have and I look forward to sharing a little piece of my adventure with you!
